This report outlines the important findings of a survey of 627 respondents involved with virtualization, compares the results with previous EMA research from 2006, examines the trends in virtualization from 2006 to 2008, forecasts the future for virtualization management in 2008 and beyond, provides several case studies based on focal interviews, and provides critical recommendations for enterprises and vendors to accommodate these trends.
